The Tensor Yarn Server applies aramid, fiberglass or polyester yarns around a cable core. There are various types depending on the requirements.

Loadcell Model

Tension Range: 300 – 2000 grams. This model uses electromagnetic brakes with a loadcell feedback on each position. This is a closed-loop control tensioning system that maintains accurate tension for all package sizes and speeds. Special control boards and a PLC control the tensioning functions and parameters. The package is held onto the rotating holder with an expanding chuck that grips the inside yarn package. A closing die is mounted at the exit or the entrance of the yarn server.

This model can be manufactured from 4 to 24 positions and can achieve speeds over  300 rpm with some designs.
